Al-Jahy - WFNO Review

Good Wednesday already. Crack a bottle(Das Hennessey over here : ) with some vanilla coke and let a nigga breathe for a min. The Anthony K post needed a video, just in case you aint see him funny. I once saw this reasonable doubt biography about him back in 1996 meeting with Bleek. (Im high right now..Its about to go down!)Talking bout Bleek ordering seven double bacon cheese burgers recording coming vol.I, Now by vol.II (1998) Bleek kind of grows into this monumental MC with very good peeks. I think he had this line in there somewhere like ("Man what?" I know these niggaz are peepin my mind cancer But in time's the answer Seems mind-blowin.) At That point Bleek was da homie. Now don’t ask me where Bleek at now buh back then that was amazing. Jigga was like the best of all time already at that point. Sorta like Waynes takeover in the Carter Series. Mixtapes weren’t out yet to make a buzz the internet was just introducing AOL Chat lines. And the number one song back then was Will Smith’s getting jiggy with it. Nowadays the full frontal takeover comes from the mix-tape gang.
I find myself conflicted nowadays with the mixtape game. I’ll introduce this as the HUSSLAH MC V.S  BACKPACK MC attaching to this huge market of what back and those days would be a superstar. You think Cudi would have got a verse with Hov if not for Man on the Moon & and kid named Cudi. Datpiff.com  and world star premiere everything from the sour patches I had earlier to the large pizza imma eat later on. I unno drop a comment lemme know what you think of the mixtape game nowadays ! cuz album sales have been getting HURT ! but onnna side note

Inglewood is the home of some of my favs these days Dom Kennedy, Nipsy and cant forget bout Mac10 and the Westside connection. Ale-Jay came in from Inglewood to share his tape WFNO which dropped September 1st independently. He did all his own beats recorded all his own tracks edited every song and WFNO. The album spreads a bit giving all different types of music genre there’s some alternative points some hip hop points and some battle MC points. Al-Jhay describes it as mean and nasty ! id say it was a lot of lost sleep for psychotic mindsets. “Im just cranking out dope music and having enough time to drop more LPS” Everybody likes free music. “I keep it fresh “The indie scene in the bay area is very grass rooted oriented and its really up to the artist today to promote and get themselves noticed. Major labels are too focused on making a profit sand not really working with artist on the image. Niggas don’t give a fuck, when they sign you its about what right thurr can do for chingy not a few years to develop like a mlb prospect or a nba 2 rounder. So we have to find a formula and stick we with your formula. As Cam would say “aint nobody gone pay you like you pay yoself.”Al-jhay has been making a buzz from So-Cal to Nor-Cal. Packed inside the Cd is a picture of Alfred Nobel (which would be the prize given to the best journal (or book piece of literature) over thirty – five pages) who also came up with this sort of a mascot for the movement WF-102 = WFNO= Work for No One. This also matches Al-Jhays style extremely original the flow is melo, but the lyrics are dynamite. There’s some funk in here totally. When he ventures and peeks he’s at his best on songs like Scarecrow, Bring me the Phok and One Time feat. The General and DeCe (http://www.mediafire.com/?1e3a37l933taz92)

Expect something new on WFNO Al-Jahy really got something to say he really got a good vibe and might not be bad to ride along the strip on a weekend searching for good times. We went and got a BBQ Chicken pizza rolled up bout a eighth or two of that good stuff got a six pack of Budweiser for good times while we did some tracks from slacker hackers. This sounds like a good record for a Saturday Berkley run. Although I myself rather go the Shattuck route also (I unno how you do your Berkeley trips.) what I missed about this tape was FAT SLICE !!! WHERE WAS FATS SLICE !!! Not even a Blondies in the near site. “You’ve got to dunk that shit chris ..you’ve got to dunk that shit.” Michael Jordan Olympics Team 1984 But all in all dat shit was bomb bro big ups from us here at the pizza shack. We need more Al-Jhays ! After all man don’t forget The pack. Do not forget the pack. – Souply
